Abstract

One of the main interests of the field of Human computer interaction is the user modeling. This search has been extrapolated to the web realm. Here, the process is more complex that in desktop applications since the study subject is most of the time, unreachable (the study subject is only a set of Datagrams). It is the same case as in Astronomy which requires the use of indirect techniques for studying the sky phenomena. The web user is different from the typical computer user in many aspects.Here we propose a model for describing the web user and the use of this identity.
